I am beyond excited for 2020! So many adventures to come far and near. These are the top 5 things I'm looking forward to and I can't wait to look back at all the surprises that pop up along the way.
1. EUROPE!!!!!
Anybody who knows me, knows I have ALWAYS wanted to travel abroad. This is the year folks! I'll be off to Scotland, Germany, and Norway in June. I'll have a million pictures and stories to share, so get pumped. Or ignore me, that's cool too. ;)
2. Visit 3 new wineries or breweries
In 2019 I tried out Madison County Winery, Covered Bridges Winery, Winterset Cidery, Summerset Winery, and La Vida Loca. Can't wait to try a few more and make some memories along the way.
3. Find a hidden gem close to home
Last year I discovered Rusty Stars Alpaca farm when I was adventuring with family and tried goat yoga at Howell's. I want to discover more fun spots and activities like this. I have my eyes on the Rose Farm in Norwalk as a potential fave :) Stay tuned.

4. Mini Spring Break Vacation with the Family
Honestly, no clue where we are headed but we are hoping to do something small. Maybe Minneapolis to see some of the NCAA wrestling Championships? Maybe the Omaha Zoo? We will just have to see where the weather takes us. Taking suggestions for day/weekend trips with littles ones! :)
5. Learn to explore local with a 1 year old
I'm quickly realizing that EVERYTHING is different with a kiddo. I've seen a lot in Central Iowa during my few years living in the metro, but I have a feeling there is a whole lot out there I never knew existed. I want traveling to be something we can enjoy as a family and I want to always foster a sense of wonder for this little guy :)
